Each one is a private session, just you and me. If you are not sure which suits you, write to me and we will work it out together.

Rebirthing breathwork

2 hours · In person, Tel Aviv (Ramat Aviv)

  • An opening conversation about what brings you
  • Guided circular breathing, lying down comfortably
  • I accompany you the whole way
  • Integration at the end, and how to continue between sessions

Zoom session

1 hour · Online, anywhere in the world

  • Tools from integrative psychotherapy and focusing-oriented therapy
  • Conversation with attention to the body
  • Shadow constellations (Jung) and focusing when useful
  • Working with patterns that repeat

Psychedelic integration

1 hour · Tel Aviv or Zoom

  • For people who have already had a psychedelic experience
  • What you saw, what you felt, what stayed with you
  • Connecting it to the body to close open loops
  • A safe space without judgment

I do not support, recommend or encourage the use of psychedelic substances. This service is for people who have already had an experience and are seeking support in processing it.

Rebirthing in Tel Aviv

What happens in a rebirthing session

Rebirthing is a breathing method developed by Leonard Orr in the 1970s. A session has three parts.

  1. Opening conversation

We talk about what brings you, what is alive for you right now, the beliefs that limit you and the places where you feel stuck.

  2. Breathing

You lie down comfortably and I guide you into circular breathing. I stay with you the whole way. The body leads, we follow.

  3. Integration

We make sense of what came up together, and talk about how to continue between sessions.

You are in control the whole time

At any moment you can return to normal breathing, open your eyes and stop.

What people feel

Common sensations are tingling in the hands and around the mouth, warmth, trembling, emotion rising, tears or laughter. These are all expressions of release.

How to prepare

  • Arrive rested
  • Avoid eating for about two hours before
  • Come with an intention, if you have one

How a Zoom session works

Zoom sessions are for people anywhere in the world, and for people in Israel who prefer to meet online. We talk, and I keep coming back to what is happening in your body as we talk. When it helps, I bring in shadow-constellation work (Jung) and focusing. A lot of the work is with patterns that keep repeating.

Some people arrive with a specific question. Some arrive only with a sense that something needs to change. Both are welcome.

If you want to breathe, we can also do a different form of rebirthing over Zoom, adapted to working online.

I want to thank you for yesterday's session. More than other treatments I've had, this one felt precise. Like a push forward that you let me receive. A feeling that I'm really doing the work, good and deeper work. It does me good, and it's new for me to receive that. Thank you Ben.

Ben, you created one of the most pleasant spaces I've ever breathed in. I'll share that I usually don't like receiving support, but suddenly I felt I wanted to surrender to it. I wish every person could come and breathe with you at least once in their life.

I did a seven-session rebirthing journey with Ben and it was a very meaningful experience for me. Ben holds a safe, quiet, allowing space, with a lot of sensitivity, presence and heart. He has deep knowledge, and you feel he also lives what he teaches. A change that took shape step by step.

Ben, yesterday was amazing. You are sensitive, attentive and professional, and you gave me a powerful experience.

About

I'm Ben

Portrait of Ben Novak

I'm a breathwork and somatic facilitator. I live and work in Tel Aviv, and my clinic is in Ramat Aviv.

For 24 years I have worked in tech and entrepreneurship, as a startup advisor and a speaker on creativity and product. The inner work has run alongside it the whole time. I have 6+ years of training and practice.

I trained in integrative psychotherapy, and in rebirthing and circular breathing: a one-year formal programme with a certificate, then two more years by choice. I also trained in focusing (Gendlin), mindfulness, shamanism, body and emotion work (pulsation, bio-energy) and shadow constellations (Jung).

I volunteer with organisations that support integration and the return to everyday life after difficult psychedelic experiences. More than 2,500 people have taken part in my workshops.

Israel Hayom wrote about how rebirthing and breathing exercises help with panic attacks and stress. I have also spoken on podcasts with Guy Katzovitch and on “Conversations with Friends” with Gil Pais. I run a community WhatsApp group of 1,300 members, in Hebrew.
